For those of you looking for something completely different to do tonight, Valentine Wolfe will be playing tonight at Fatso’s in Greenville. The band is comprised of two members, Sarah Black who does vocals and Programming and Braxton Ballew who plays bass and Programming. The band describes themselves as a Gothic steam-punk duo, or as I describe them, Baroque Industrial. If one were to try to interpret a Final Fantasy game with live players, this would definitely be the soundtrack to it. In addition to being one of the Upstate’s most unique bands (which is a feat in itself), both members are two of the nicest and most sincere people in the music scene that we’ve come across.

Also performing with Valentine Wolfe is Tim TV and The Secret Cirkus. Many of you in Greenville have probably seen Tim TV either riding his bike or hula-hooping somewhere in the past few years. Tonight he’ll be bringing his Cirkus to perform and rumor has it there will be fire and also some more adult-oriented fare involving pasties!

Also performing will be newcomer IFB. Nothing is known yet of this performer, but everyone in the VW camp seems pretty excited about them/he/she/it, so we’re excited also.

The show is at Fatso’s at 424 Laurens Rd Greenville SC and starts at 10PM. $5 over 21/$7 under.
